Cauria's site was occupied to the bronze age by a civilization which left numerous tracks.

First of all, Stantari's adaptation, conceals about twenty statues - menhirs sculptured classified ancient memorials. These statues would be more old than those of Filitosa.

Then, Rinaiu's adaptation have some engraved menhirs, the others equipped.

Fontanaccia's dolmen, which was found by Prosper Mérimée in 1840, is the most important and the best preserved of the island. The Corsican people gave it through centuries the nickname of " forge of the devil ", because it would have been a place of sacrificial cult.
