This beautiful village is the only real municipality of this dry region of Fango. It is a sea resort in full development, resting on its beach of small pebbles, relatively rare characteristic on the island. This charming beach is situated in the mouth of Fango a small river taking its source in the forest of Bonifato.

Situated in the regional park, Galéria is also quite close to Scandola's nature reserve, accessible only by sea route and receiving uncountable sea birds, and extremely rare fact, one of the last seals of the Mediterranean Sea.

The Church of the village is in side of hill while the beach ends at feet of the Genoese tower.

Finally, for the lovers of walks, Galéria is a very beautiful stage of the pedestrian path "Mare e Monti" connecting Calenzana with Calvi in a dozen days. By taking this route, one can reach Girolata after some hours of efforts rewarded by a magnificent environment.
