Vico is a big village situated in a washbasin afforested not far from the coast.

One can there admire a convent Franciscan buried in a forest of sweet chestnut trees. The Saint François convent, was based in the XV-th century by the leader of the rebels, Leca Gian-Paolo.

Today, it is a typical village with its high traditional houses, the picturesque squares, the whole embeded in an amphitheatre of woody mountains.
